School Council

Why have a School Council?

A school council is an ideal way for our pupils to have an input into how our school could be improved. It is a forum where pupils can voice issues that are important to them, represent the views of all pupils within the school, prioritise ideas and ask people to help make things happen.

Each year, every class elects two representatives from Reception through to year 6, to be members of the school council.

Meetings are held once every half term to discuss ideas. We are currently looking at ways of improving the playground with markings, games, and resources.

Coming up we are looking to have a whole school Eco Day in the summer term, to raise awareness of environmental issues and to help us remember to care for our environment.
