Why have a School Council?
A school council is an ideal way for our pupils to have input into how our school could be improved. It is a forum where pupils can voice issues that are important to them, represent the views of all pupils within the school, prioritise ideas and ask people to help make things happen.
We have two school council members from each year group across the school and we hold three meetings each term. We discuss any matters that have arisen from the class discussions and use these ideas to think of ideas to improve our school.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Cathie Paine has asked us to discuss the following (for her vision for all Reach2 schools to be great schools):
*What makes our school great?
*What makes a great playtime/lunchtime?
*What makes a great classroom?
*What makes a great teacher?
